Pumpkin Patch at First Methodist Church is a month long service project. It began in our church in 1995 when then Youth Director, Katie Arnold, contracted with Pumpkins USA in North Carolina. This year is the 29th annual Pumpkin Patch and once more will be a labor of love from the congregation. The Pumpkins come to us from New Mexico where they are grown on the Navajo Indian reservation. They are given to us, we sell them at a preset price, and at the end of the month we keep a percentage of the money earned and the rest goes back to Pumpkins USA. Ministries throughout our church and community receive the benefit of the funds.
