Melissa DePalermo, Administrative Assistant

Melissa has been serving as the church Administrative Assistant since 1999. Prior to that, she was the Nursery Director for one year. Melissa is responsible for all church publications, maintaining membership records, scheduling the facility use, to name just a few of her job areas. Melissa attended Angelo State University, is a Certified Methodist Church Secretary, is a member of the Professional Administrators of the United Methodist Connectional Structure and has been a member of FUMC all of her life.

Melissa and her husband Troy have three children, Colby, Kacey and Kaitlyn. Between her job and family, there is little time left for much else.

Bonnie Dixon, Financial Administrator

As the Financial Administrator of the church since 2006, Bonnie performs FUMC’s accounting services such as bookkeeping, payroll, IRS reporting and other financial and budgeting services.

Bonnie is a long time resident of Seguin (since the mid 1970's). She has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from TLU and a Master's in Business Management from the University of the Incarnate Word. Bonnie worked for twenty five years with Motorola as an Accountant. She has previous church experience at St. Andrews Episcopal.

Michelle Doege, Church Receptionist

Michelle has been the church receptionist since 2012.  Prior to working at First UMC, she was a stay-at-home mom to two kids.  Michelle answers the phone, greets visitors, handles various office duties and puts together the weekly bulletins and monthly newsletters.   She also does other jobs as needed to help out other staff members, the congregation or visitors.

Michelle is highly involved with the youth ministry at First UMC.  She is married to Aaron and they have two kids; Cassidy and Wyatt.  When she is not shuttling kids to youth group or FFA/4H events or violin practice, she loves to read, fish and play board or card games.
