ADULT SUNDAY MORNING CLASSES - There is a class for adults of every age. Check our other web pages! We have ten Sunday School classes at this time and are always looking for more ways to involve adults.

ADULT EVENING VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - As in years past, we held a special V.B.S. class for adults. Our evening started with dinner at 5:15 in our Great Room and at 6:00 p.m. we moved to a classroom for fellowship and study. We look forward to next year and another exciting study.

COVERED DISH/BIRTHDAY LUNCHEON - Every quarter we offer this special event immediately after our 10:30 a.m. services. Those attending are invited to bring a covered dish, meat, veggies, etc. to share with friends, old and new. During our time together we celebrate four months of birthdays. We even have birthday cakes and sing "Happy Birthday" to our birthday folks, both old and young.

CHURCHWIDE PICNIC - Each year in the fall, we meet at Nolte Island's Site 3 for our Annual Church Picnic. Our United Methodist Men prepare the meat and those joining us bring covered dishes of veggies, salads and fruit. We also have a "Men's Pie Making Contest" that brings in all the desserts we need as well as lots of fun! Members and guests of all ages are welcome to join us. Bring a lawn chair if you wish and sit back, feel the breeze or join in the playing of softball, volleyball, and horseshoes! This is an event we always look forward to. Dress for church this day is always casual so when it's time again, pull on the shorts and T-shirt and join us for a great experience!

BUTTERFLY QUILTERS - Tuesdays, 9-11:30 am Room 208 - The Butterfly Quilters is open to all women who have an interest in quilting. They are one of our United Methodist Women’s circles, as well as members of other churches. The quilters found their “niche” in finishing quilts. The quilts are already pieced together, and these ladies add the batting and bottom layer and all of the topstitching by hand. Their motto is “bring a needle and thimble and we’ll teach you the rest!” They women enjoy passing on the art and technique of quilting. All of the money that they raise from their efforts goes to support the United Methodist Women’s missions. They are able to complete about six quilts a year and always have a waiting list! Their room is large enough to allow them to work on two quilts at once, so your help will truly be appreciated.
